JoAnn Lynn (Hess) Hoisington, 40, died Tuesday, March 26, 1996, in Veterans Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, St. Paul's United Methodist Church, by the Rev. Karl Giese. Burial: Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday at Martin Funeral Home, Waukon.

Survivors include her husband, Kevin; her parents, Joe and Shirley (Smith) Hess of Lansing; a stepson, Christopher of Waukon; three stepdaughters, Amy of Dubuque, Kathy of Waverly and Sara of Waukon; five brothers, John Hess of Fox Lake, Wis., Michael Hess of Denver, Colo., Mark Hess of Cumberland, Wis., Steven and Joseph J. Hess, both of Lansing; and two sisters, Susan Freeman of Deer Park, Wis., and Debbie Hammel of Dorchester.
