Robert (Bob) Bruce Maust Sr., 88, of Lansing, Iowa, died Tuesday, October 27, 1992 at Thornton Manor Care Center.

He was born Sept. 14, 1904, in Sanborn, Iowa to Bruce and Lizzie (Fike) Maust. On July 2, 1924 he married Freda A. Graves in Primghar, Iowa. They were residents of the Lansing area for over 50 years, farming on Gruber Ridge.

Robert was a member of St. Peter's Church of Christ in New Albin, Iowa.

Survivors include one son, Robert B. Maust, Jr.; of New Albin, Ia., two daughters, Marjorie Steiber, Lansing and Donna Kerkow, Minneapolis, Mn.; and eleven grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday, October 29, 1992 at United Methodist Church, Lansing with Pastor Tom Mattson officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Honary pallbearers were: Gary Blythe, Don Dean, Dennis Smith and Bob Thompson. Pallbearers were Alan Steiber, Byron Steiber, Daryl Steiber, Danny Maust, Scott Maust, Kent Maust, and Doug Kerkow.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and four sisters.
