The funeral of John Barlow of Rossville, was held Thursday at that place. He was past eighty years of age and death was caused by pneumonia.

He was an old soldier and a member of Company I, 27th Iowa.

His two children, Mrs. Chas. Childe and James Barlow, both reside at Rossville.
