JOHN MARTIN FRITZ 1828-1905

John Martin Fritz, born Johann Martin Fritz, on 28 May 1828 in Laufen, Balingen, Wurttemberg (Germany). His parents were Johann Martin Fritz and Christina Stotz.

He married Margareth Sauer probably before they immigrated to the U.S.A. All the children were born in Iowa according to the 1870 Federal census for French Creek Township, Allamakee County, Iowa.

He had two brothers living in Lansing Township, Iowa. His older brothers were Ludwig (Louis) and Jacob. John Martin Fritz died 17 February 1905 and was buried in Lansing Ridge Cemetery, Allamakee County, Iowa.

His probate is No. 936 and his son, John C. Fritz was the administrator.
