Last Friday evening the sad news was brought to us of the death of Grandpa Goodrich, father of L.W. Goodrich of this place. He died at the age of ninety-four years, four months and six days. He was loved and respected by all who knew him. He served in the war of 1812.

Mr. Peter GOODRICH, who resided near Myron, died last Friday after a brief illness. He was one of the early settlers of Iowa, having immigrated in 1850.
