BOCKHAUS, MOHWINKLE, MEYER

Dorchester, Ia. - Funeral services for Mrs. Frieda Bockhaus, of near Dorchester, were held from the Martin Brothers funeral parlors, Waukon, to the Methodist church, Dorchester, Thursday afternoon. The Rev. W.H. Mitchell, Waukon, officiated. Burial was in the Dorchester Methodist cemetery.

Mrs. Bockhaus died at her home Monday, following a stroke suffered recently.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Mohwinkle, Mrs. Bockhaus was born in Houston county, Minn. on Dec. 11, 1878. The family moved to Waterloo township, Allamakee county, in 1901, and since her marriage to Fred Bockhaus she lived near Dorchester.

She is survived by one daughter, Miss Nettie Bockhaus, and three sons, Fred, Milton, and Ervin Bockhaus, all at home; one sister, Mrs. Henry Meyer, Dorchester; and one brother, August Mohwinkle, Waukon. She was preceded by her husband, a son and a daughter.
