Lansing, Iowa - Mrs. B. Fuiks, one of Lansing's oldest and most respected citizens, died at a hospital in La Crosse on Tuesday. Mrs. Fuiks had gone to La Crosse a few weeks ago to visit her son Kossuth, an engineer on the Burlington, when she was taken ill.

Deceased was 73 years of age and had lived in Lansing for over forty years. The remains arrived here Tuesday evening and were interred in Oak Hill cemetery Friday.

All her children, with one exception, were at her bedside when death came. Her oldest son, Nat, who lives in California, arrived here in time for the funeral.

Ike Fuiks was in town this week, called here from his home in California by the illness of his mother, whose death occurred in La Crosse Tuesday morning.
