Waukon, Ia., Dec. 12 - Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the E.W. Goodykoontz home for Rolland Johnson, who died on board the U.S.S. Tennessee last Wednesday, and whose remains arrived here Monday.

He was in the navy for the past 15 years. He was the only son of Dr. and Mrs. J.H. Johnson.

Members of the Spanish-American war veterans and the Ralph D. Waters post of the American Legion attended the funeral, military services being held at the graveside in Oakland cemetery.
