William "Bill" Rogers, age 75, of El Mirage, Ariz., and formerly of Lansing, Iowa, died December 19, 2003, at his home. Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2004, at the Thornburg Hanson Funeral Home in Lansing with Pastor Keith Putney officiating. Burial of cremains will be June 5, 2004, in Hanover, Ill. Friends may call the funeral home on Saturday from 5 p.m. until time of services.

Bill was born September 9, 1928, in Savanna, Ill., the son of Benjamin and Mary (Hotchkiss) Rogers. He married Clara Rose Kallenberger December 19, 1947, in Savanna.

He retired from Alliant Energy in 1990.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Ann (Monte) Steiber of Prairie du Chien, Wis.; a son, Benjamin (Ellen) Rogers of Sharon, Wis.; six grandchildren, Marc (Tabitha), Adam, and Krisalyn Steiber, Kerry (Dennis) Shoenherr, Tracy (Troy) Dow, and Christopher (Jenny) Rogers, all of Wisconsin; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

William L. Rogers of El Mirage, Arizona, formerly of Lansing, passed away Friday, December 19, 2003 at his home after a short illness.

William was born to Benjamin and Mary Rogers on September 9, 1928 in Savanna, IL and married Clara Rose Kallenberger on December 19, 1947 in Savanna. He retired from Alliant Engery in 1990.

He is survived by his wife, Clara Rose, of 57 years; one daughter, Ann (Monte) Steiber of Prairie du Chien, WI; one son, Benjamin (Ellen) Rogers of Sharon, WI; six grandchildren, Marc, (Tabitha), Adam and Krisalyn Steiber, Kerry (Dennis) Schoenherr, Tracy (Tray) Dow, and Christphoper (Jenny) Rogers; all of Wisconsin, and six great grandchildren.

He was preced in death by his parents, Benjamin and Mary (Hutchkiss) Rogers.
