Mrs. J. E. (Mame Thill) HORGAN 1882-1953
Funeral services are being held this morning, Wednesday, at 9:30, in St. Bridget's Catholic church for Mrs. J. E. Horgan, 71, who passed away suddenly Sunday. The requiem high mass will be read by Rev. F. J. Vallaster, pastor of St. Bridget's. Burial will be in St. Peter's cemetery at Clermont.
Mame Thill Horgan, daughter of John Thill and Barbara Steele Thill, was born July 19, 1882 in Postville. She died suddenly November 22, 1953 at her home in Postville. She was married to John E. Horgan on April 26, 1910. The couple lived in Postville throughout their married life.
Mrs. Horgan is survived by her husband; two daughters (Loretta), Mrs. Russell Brown of Evanston, Illinois; and (Jean), Mrs. H. J. Carney of Perry, one brother, John J. Thill of Dubuque, and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son who died in infancy.
