Mrs. WILBUR (Emma C. Beisker) LIVINGOOD
Services were held Friday, Jan. 23, 1970 at 3:00 p.m. for Mrs. Emma C. Livingood at the Community Presbyterian Church in Postville with the Rev. Dick Harberts officiating. Interment was in the Postville Cemetery.
Emma Caroline Beisker, the daughter of William and Anna Beisker, was born Nov. 3, 1894 in Clayton County, Iowa. She died at the Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge, Illinois on Tuesday, Jan. 20 at the age of 75.
Emma was married to Wilbur Waters Livingood, March 15, 1916. To this union two children were born: Webster Clay and Marion Jessie.
She was an active member of the Community Presbyterian Church and the Ladies Aid Society; VFW Auxiliary; Rebekah Lodge; Morton Grove, Illinois Church World Service and the Senior Citizens of Morton Grove.
Her parents and husband preceded her in death; also two brothers, George and William Beisker and one granddaughter, Carol Weeks.
She is survived by her son Webster Livingood of Groton, Connecticut; a daughter, Marion Masaracchia of Morton Grove, Illinois, five sisters, Anna Henry, Amanda Livingood, Jessie Fitzpatrick, Selma Kirkestue and Audrey Schroeder all of Postville; grandsons, Joseph and Philip Masaracchia and William Livingood; granddaughter, Deborah Masaracchia and four great grandchildren.
-note: Emma's husband, Wilbur "Pete" Waters Livingood was the son of Webster C. and Mary Ella (Waters) Livingood.
