CHARLEY B. LIVINGOOD

Charley B. Livingood, 77 of rural Detroit Lakes, died at his home on Thursday, November 19. Funeral services were held November 23, at the First Lutheran Church; burial was at the Bakke Lutheran cemetery.

Mr. Livingood was born in Allamakee County on February 8, 1887. He moved to Detroit Lakes in 1908 and has lived there since that time. On December 29, 1911, he married Esther Lee at Waukon.

Survivors include his wife; seven sons; six daughters; 48 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren; two brothers, Willard of Postville and Lynn of Waukon; four sisters, Mrs. Nellie Winters of Postville, Mrs. Abbie Winters of Waukon, Mrs. Stella Moose of Frankville and Mrs. Caroline Lawson of Minnesota.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Mrs. Frank Miller of Waukon; and two brothers, Cecil and Earl of Postville.

Mrs. Cecil Livingood, Mrs. and Mrs. William Livingood, and Mr. and Mrs. Gaylord Moose of Monona attended the funeral services.

-note: Charley was the son of Edwin and Matildia (Pechia) Livingood. His death occurred November 19, 1964.
