Late Henry Seelig Buried at Kingsley, Michigan
The Review is in receipt of a copy of the Kingsley (Mich.) Echo, containing a notice of the funeral of the late Henry Seelig, the young man who was killed in the Dover mill two weeks ago. The Michigan paper says:
"Perhaps no young man in Kingsley had more friends than Henry Seelig and the same can be said of him in his western home as was demonstrated by the floral offerings that covered the casket upon it's arrival here. His friends were proud to be claimed as such. It is said of him he never had an enemy. Henry Seelig was 32 years of age. He left Kingsley eight years ago and took up his residence at Sandpoint, Idaho, where he has since resided.
He leaves three sisters, Mrs. Ferris of Church, Iowa; Mrs. Minnie Fordney, of Grand Forks, N.D.; Mrs. Elizabeth Luce of Traverse City, and a brother, L.I. Seelig, of Waukon, Iowa. His father, Fred Seelig, also survives. All were present at the funeral except the one sister in North Dakota who was unable to make the trip.
The funeral services were held from the Baptist church under the auspices of the I.O.O.F., Rev. McGregor of Traverse City officiating.
