George A. Rubendall, 76, died Monday at a nursing home in St. Olaf where he has been receiving care since Spring.

Funeral services are being held in the Pilkington funeral parlors, McGregor, this afternoon at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. E.G. Steinman officiating.

Burial will be in Smithfield cemetery.

Funeral services for George A. Rubendall were held in the Pilkington funeral parlors last Thursday afternoon with the Rev. E.G. Steinman officiating. Burial was in Smithfield cemetery.

He died Monday, Nov. 27th, at the Larson nursing home in St. Olaf. He had been bedfast since March 1948 when he suffered a stroke.

George Albert Rubendall was born May 29, 1874, at Brookville, Ill., and was one of a family of ten children born to James and Sarah Rubendall.

He was married to Cora J. Entwisle on December 5, 1905. Ten children were born to them, 6 of whom survive.

His wife, twin daughters, a son, his parents and two brothers preceded him in death.

He is survived by three daughters; Mrs. Azalia Corlett, McGregor; Mrs. Florence Metz, Sabula and Jessie Rubendall, Rockford, Ill.; three sons: Gordon and Leonard of McGregor and Donald of Waukon; 18 grandchildren, one great granddaughter, 5 sisters, 2 brothers, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
