Lansing Man Killed in Friday Accident
Dewey G. Leppert, 74, Lansing, was killed in a two-car accident on Iowa 9 about a mile west of Lansing around 8:50 p.m. Friday night.
Leppert was alone in his car, and was going west on the highway. Loren Paus, 22, Dorchester, was the driver of the other car, and was headed east. The cars met nearly head on near the center of the highway. Paus and a passenger in his car, Gary Arands, 20, Caledonia, Minn., were brought to Waukon Veterans Memorial hospital for treatment of injuries and then released.
