Mrs. JOHN (Sarah Ashton) McDONALD

Mrs. Sarah (nee Ashton) McDonald, passed away Sunday, July 10, 1955, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Arthur McCoy, Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the age of 83 years. The wife of John McDonald, they were former Postville residents.

The following children survive: Francis J. of Elmhurst, Illinois; Mrs. Lillian Meisenberg of Waukesha, Wisconsin; Mrs. Edward McNeil, Postville; Thomas, Dubuque; Leo, Milwaukee; James, Waukesha; Mrs. Arthur McCoy, Milwaukee; and Mrs. Gerald Brehn of Waukesha; 33 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren, and one sister, Elizabeth, in England.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, July 13, at 9:00 a.m., at St. Michael's church, with burial in Holy Cross cemetery. Attending from Postville were Mr. and Mrs. Ed McNeil.
