THOMAS O'BRIEN
Ludlow, Ia., Jan. 25. -Special- Funeral services were held Monday morning from the family home, Rev. Paul Krebs officiating, for Thomas O'Brien, who died at his farm home last Thursday following a short illness of heart failure. Burial was made in Oakland cemetery.

Mr. O'Brien was 71 years old, and was born in Onieda county, New York, coming to this county with his parents in 1870. He settled on the farm which has since been his home.

Surviving are four brothers, Warren, John, James and Joseph; his parents and a sister, Miss Belle, having preceded him in death.
