Mrs. VICTOR C. (Emma M. Willman) MEYER

Funeral services for Emma M. Meyer were held Friday, June 20, 1980 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville, Iowa. Rev. David R. Nelson officiated. The Schutte Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Postville Cemetery.

Emma M. Meyer, daughter of William and Emma (Oldag) Willman, was born February 18, 1901 on a farm in Grand Meadow Township, Clayton County, Iowa. She passed away June 18, 1980 at the Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital in Decorah, Iowa at the age of 79 years.

She received her education at Oak Hill rural school. On October 12, 1920 she was married to Victor C. Meyer. To this union two children were born. The couple farmed northwest of Postville until moving to Postville in December of 1959.

Preceding her in death were her parents. She is survived by a son, Leonard of Cedar Rapids; a daughter, Irene (Mrs. Ted Feickert) of Postville; ten grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; a brother, Paul Willman; and two sisters, Bertha (Mrs. Ervin Dickman) and Verla (Mrs. Eldo Schutte), all of Postville.

Casket Bearers were: Lloyd, DuWayne, Allen and Jeffrey Feickert; Rickey Nelson; Dennis Meyer and Terry Hemry.
