CLARENCE A. MEYER

Services were conducted from St. Paul Lutheran Church, Monday, October 30, for Clarence A. Meyer, who died at St. Luke's Hospital, Davenport, October 27. Intern Ron Matter officiated.

Clarence A. Meyer, son of William C. Meyer and his wife Ida Reincke Meyer, was born October 16, 1900 in Clayton County, Iowa. He was baptized in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville. In 1922 he was married to Marie Breitsprecher in Castalia. To this union four children were born.

Mr. Meyer was preceded in death by his wife Marie, his parents, a daughter Shirley Mae and three brothers, Alvin, Arno and Victor C.

Surviving are two sons; Hartley of Milan, Illinois and William of Edgington, Illinois; a daughter Mrs. Richard (Dorothy) Berberich, Edgington, Illinois; one brother, Milo of Postville; 17 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Interment was in the Postville Cemetery.
