The remains of Mrs. John Hand a former resident of Elkport were brought here for burial last Friday. Mrs. Hand died at Cherry Mound, Iowa, at the age of 74 years and leaves three daughters and 2 sons to mourn her loss. The funeral service was held at the Catholic church at Elkport and was largely attended Rev. Father Minogue officiating and interment was at the Catholic cemetery.

Cause: Organic Heart Trouble & Flatulence caused by gastric ulcer. Died before I got in house. Had the above trouble a long time but no treatment of late.
