Waukon Loses a Good Citizen.
Charles Jenkins, the junior member of the firm of Hale & Jenkins, merchants at Waukon, died on the 25th ult., after an illness of only a few weeks,aged nearly 70 years. He retired from business about the 1st of February last, and his health began failing, but not seriously so until the middle of March “A useful life, well spent,” is the popular verdict as to his character.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in Oakland Cemetery and was born in 1835.
