RUBEN E. NOLTING

Ruben E. Nolting, 81, of Waukon died Monday, Jan. 30, 1989, at the Veterans Memorial Hospital, Waukon. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Zion United Church of Christ, with burial in Oakland Cemetery, both in Waukon. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday at the Martin Funeral Home, Waukon.

Mr. Nolting was a retired farmer. He was born July 29, 1907, in Allamakee county, son of Herman and Lydia (Hager) Nolting. He married Esther Keehn Aug. 21, 1929, in Waukon; she survives.

Also surviving are a son, Emmett of Waukon; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild; a brother, Melvin of Waukon; and a sister, Mrs. Florence Cooper of Waukon. A daughter, Mrs. Roland (Dorrene) Grotegut died Jan. 30, 1986.
