Rosamond Read Olney, daughter of Eugene and Myrtle Read, was born at Forest Mills, Iowa. She died July ____, 1985 at Methodist Midtown Hospital, Omaha, NE. Interment was at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Omaha.

Since 1924 she had been a resident of Omaha. She held two degrees from the State University of Iowa. Her son, Eugene Olney, preceded her in death in 1981. Surviving are her daughter, Mary, Mrs. _____ Greene, Glendale, CA; her sister, Mrs. Earl (Opal) Krousie, Dumont, N. J.; daughter-in-law Dorothy Olney, Omaha; three grandchildren, Beverly Reif, San Antonio, TX, Gisele Buhman and her husband, Richard, Yutan, NE, Guy Baron Olney, his wife, Pamela; and two great grandchildren, Leland and Clayton Olney, Garland, TX.
