John B. Schulte

Funeral services for 73-year old John B. Schulte were held Friday, Dec. 29 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Caledonia, MN. The Rev. Donald Schmitz conducted the services with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Caledonia. John died at his home Tuesday, Dec. 26.

Born August 7, 1922 in Dorchester, John was the son of John C. and Ella (Connor) Schulte.

He married Mary T. Bymes February 6, 1945 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hanover. John was a farmer and painter.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Patrick (Dorothy) of Caledonia and Paul (Jean) of Houston, MN; three daughters, Patricia (Charles) McCabe of Caledonia, Colleen (Kenny) Stoltz and Susan (Jim) Hoefs, both of Lewiston, MN; 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; three brothers, Norbert (Rita) of New Albin, Greg (Jean) of Cedar Rapids and Lloyd (Shirley) of Waukon; three sisters, Marge (Viv) Wiltgen, Angie Regan, and Jeanette (John Joe) McCormick, all of Waukon. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Cletus.

McCormick Funeral Home of Caledonia was in charge of arrangements.
