Harold George Schultz

Funeral services for Harold Schultz were May 14, 1986 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Postville.

The Rev. Julius L. Peterson officiated. The Schutte Funeral Service of Postville was in charge of arrangements. Interment was in the Postville Cemetery.

Casket bearers were: Emil Schultz, Jr., Carlos Schultz, Robert Dotseth, Dean Schultz, Malin Schultz, Willis Schultz and Marlin Swenson.

Harold George Schultz, son of Carl and Maria (Krogman) Schultz, was born Jan. 31, 1907 in Grand Meadow Township, Clayton County. He died May 11, 1986 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Postville.

He was baptized and confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church, Luana. He attended school in Luana.

On Jan. 27, 1955 he married Velma Miene at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville. He worked on various farms as a farm laborer for several years before moving to Postville, where he was employed at the lumberyard for 13 years.

He is preceded in death by 5 brothers, William, Carl, Fred, Emil, Sr., Louis, one half brother Henry and a sister, Ida Schutte. Surviving are his wife, Velma, of Postville and 2 sisters-in- law, Mrs. Mabel Schultz and Mrs. Frances Miene.

He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
