Monona, Ia. - Funeral service for Lyle Evans, 25, who was instantly killed Sunday night when his car overturned on Highway 13 near Rossville, were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the M.E. Church at Volney. The Rev. G.W. Turner of Monona officiated.

Burial was in the Smithfield Cemetery.

Mr. Evans was born at Volney in August, 1913, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Evans.

Surviving are his parents; two brothers, Gerald and Earl; and one sister, Velma, all at home.
