Lansing, Ia. - Funeral services for Mrs. Frank Whaley, 74, were held Wednesday at 2 o'clock from the family home, the Rev. H.J. Noeding officiating, after which burial was made in Oak Hill cemetery.

As Esther Nelson she was born Nov. 17, 1869 at Lansing, and her marriage to Mr. Frank Whaley took place on March 29, 1886 at La Crosse, Wis.

Surviving are one daughter Olive of Lansing and four brothers William of Lansing; Julius of Detroit, Mich.; Bert of Elkhart, Ind.; and Uriah of Oakland, Calif.

Casket bearers were William Kehr, Charles Fest, Herman Gauntiz, Gustave Loabs, George Gordon and George Fitzpatrick.
