Mrs. Dorothea Albert Small, a resident of Shushan, died last Friday at the Deaconess hospital, Boston, Mass., after a short illness.

Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at the O.K. Spurr funeral home with Rev. Robert W. Smith, pastor of the Shushan Methodist church, officiating. Interment was in Woodlands cemetery.

She was born January 6, 1896 at Postville, Iowa, the daughter of the late William Otto and Emma Scherf Albert. She is survived by a son, Jefferson Small, and a granddaughter, Jerlyn Small, both of Barrington, R.I. and a brother, Rudolph Albert, of Bergenfield, N.J.
