FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. VERNA WATERS
Mrs. Verna Waters, 77, of Waukon, died Monday, January 14, at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. Her husband, George H., died in March, 1970.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 16, at St. Mary's Catholic Church at Hanover, with burial in the church cemetery.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Everett (Kate) Kirkeby, Mrs. William (Helen) Dickson and Mrs. James (Leonette) Troendle, all of Waukon, Mrs. Arnold (Delores) Lansford of Hobb, New Mexico, and Mrs. Kenneth) Evelyn) Peters of Bellevue, Nebraska; seven sons, Floyd, Donald and Earl, all of Waukon, George of Dallas, Texas, Ralph of Alaska, and Ronald of Dubuque; seventy grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Florence Teff of Detroit, Michigan, and Mrs. Stella Gilbert of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Hanson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
