Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for Olaf Olson, 70, lifelong resident of Paint Creek Township, who died Saturday following a long illness. The Rev. Oscar Haugstul of McGregor officiated and burial was in the family lot in the Waterville Cemetery.

Survivors include his widow, the former Anna Hanson of Waterville; and four grandchildren.

His only daughter, Mrs. Walter Monserud, died 12 years ago.
