MRS. AMELON CLAIMED BY DEATH AT HOME IN HARDIN TOWNSHIP

Mrs. Augusta Amelon died this morning at 7 o'clock at her home in Hardin Township after a protracted illness.
She was sixty-one years old and is survived by a husband, Charles Amelon and seven children, three sons and four daughters: William Amelon, of Minnesota, Otto Amelon, of Iowa City, Charles Amelon, of Johnson county, Mrs. Margaret Baulmann, of Allamakee county, Mrs. Ida Hedges, of Iowa City, Mrs. Anna Brogla of Johnson county, and Miss Elizabeth Amelon at home.
Mrs. Amelon had lived in Hardin Township for a number of years. She was a highly respected and popular woman being mourned by a host of friends.
Funeral announcement will be made later. Burial will be in the Sharon Center cemetery.
