Ethel J. Monserud, 74, died Thursday, Oct. 7, 1993, in her home after a sudden illness. Services: 2 p.m. Monday, Waterville Lutheran Church, by the Rev. Kim Thacker. Burial: Waterville Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Martin Funeral Home, Waukon, where a Scripture service begins at 7 p.m.

Survivors include her husband, Norman; and two sisters, Violet Howes of Waukon and Mabel Hartley of Dubuque.
