Mrs. Addie Jones Interred Friday

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Schutte Funeral Home for Mrs. Addie Jones, 83, who passed away October 10 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Gordon. The rites were conducted by Rev. Walter T. Martin, pastor of the Community Presbyterian Church of Postville.

Addie May Jennewine, daughter of Jacob Jennewine and Lauretta Burger Jennewine, was born May 24, 1866 in Jefferson township, Allamakee county, near Waukon and passed away on October 10 after a lingering illness at the age of 83.

She was united in marriage to George Jones about 1890. He preceded her in death in 1929. Her entire life was spent in Clayton and Allamakee counties.

Mrs. Jones is survived by one sister, Mrs. Frank Downing of Seattle, Washington, and many nieces and nephews.
