Lansing, Ia. - Arrangements are being completed for the funeral of Edward Meyers, 51, who died Saturday at the university hospital at Iowa City after a brief hospitalization.

He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. August Meyers and was born in Union City township. Most of his life has been spent in and around Lansing. His wife, the former Bertha Krzbeitke, preceded him in death 15 years ago.

He is survived by one brother, August, of Lansing; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Gruber and Mrs. Emma Bellows of La Crosse; two sons, Franklin Meyers of Oelwein, Leslie of Lansing; three daughters, Esther and Nettie of Cedar Rapids and Myrtle of Davenport.

Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery.
