Norma M. Gress, age 89, of Cedar Falls, Iowa died Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Western Home Communities South Cottage. She was born November 3, 1927 in Waterville, Iowa the daughter of Louis and Emma (Haas) Gjefle. She graduated from the Waterville Consolidated High School. Norma married Charles V. Gress on March 29, 1947 in Cresco, Iowa. Charles died August 28, 2009. Norma worked at Congdon Printing Company, Cedar Falls for 17 years, retiring in 1983.

Norma is survived by her son Eugene (Deb) of Colo, Iowa, a daughter Kathleen Gerjerts of Cedar Falls; three grandchildren Nicole, Graham (Katie), and Kyle (Payten)and five great-grandchildren Zachary, Reid, Bailey, Elliot and Ryann. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Orville Gjefle, and two sisters, Arlene Thies and Lillian Marshall. Services for Norma M. Gress were held on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with burial at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
