Waukon, Ia. - Alfred Meyer, 41, of Waukon died Friday at his home. He had been with the state highway department out of Waukon for several years.
Surviving are his wife, the former Lila Sandry; a daughter, Mrs. Clark Johnson of Waterville; two sons, James and Robert at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. August Meyer of Lansing; a brother Harry of Lansing; and two sisters, Mrs. Lloyd Roe of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Donald Gaulthier of Lansing.

--Waukon, Ia. - Military funeral services for Alfred Meyer, 41, were held Monday from Bakke and Hanson Funeral Home to St. John's Lutheran Church. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery near Lansing, where military graveside rites were held. Mr. Meyer died Friday at his home. He is survived* by his wife, his parents, two sons, a daughter, a brother and two sisters.
