Waukon- Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Big Canoe Church for Oscar Jacobson, 65, whose death occurred at the family home near the Allamakee-Winneshiek line following a long illness.

He was bon on a farm in Hanover Township on Dec. 6, 1873, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Jacobson, Allamakee County pioneers. He was married in 1902 to Ingebourne Ellingson of that vicinity
