George R. Lee, 71, of Lansing died Saturday, Feb 21, in a Waukon nursing home.

He was born Dec. 5, 1904, in Brownsville, Minn., to Mr. and Mrs. George Lee. He was water superintendent for the City of Lansing for many years until his retirement.

Survivors are his widow, the former Katherine Wagner; a son, George H. of Lansing; two grandchildren; two brothers, Russel of Austin, Minn., and Edmund of Caledonia, Minn.; and two sisters, Mrs. Ernest (Hazel) Peeper and Mrs. Edna Benson, both of Caledonia.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lansing. Rev Linus Rasing will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home, Lansing, after 3 p.m. Monday, with a Rosary to be at 8 p.m.
