Another beloved Lansing mother, who passed away to her Eternal Reward at the age of 72, Sunday, June 23, was Mrs. Herman Krzietke, whose death occurred early that morning at the Waukon Veterans Memorial Hospital.

As Pearl Sandry, she was born at Mays Prairie, April 6, 1891, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Sandry. She was educated in the rural schools of the vicinity, and on October 13, 1909, at New Albin, was united in marriage to Herman H. Krzbietke. A son, Clarence, preceded her in death in 1931.

Left to mourn the loss of their wife and mother is her husband, Herman Krzbietke, and their daughters, Mrs. Jack Sweeney of Lansing, and Mrs. Richard Dresselhaus of Pigeon Falls, Wisconsin. Among other immediate survivors are one sister, Mrs. Leslie Steiber of rural Lansing, and six brothers, Virgil and Clifford Sandry of Cedar Rapids; Dewey and Leonard Sandry of Lansing; Frank Sandry of Waukon; and Ernest Sandry of Reno, Nevada; also three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Krzbietke was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America, Oneota Camp, New Albin, where she resided for many years, a good neighbor and friend, widely known in this part of the county, and numerous acquaintances will read with regret of her passing.

The funeral services were held at Grace United Methodist Church in New Albin, at two o'clock yesterday afternoon, with Rev. J. Leslie Leonard officiating and saying the final prayers at the graveside in New Albin Cemetery where interment was made. Casket bearers were Clinton Dee and Les Dresselhaus of New Albin, and Ben Sweeney, James Kelleher, and Odean and Harold Sandry of Lansing.
