Mrs. Adolph Rudnick, 79, passed away Sunday evening at 8:23 enroute to St. Francis Hospital, La Crosse, Wis.

She was born in Crooked Creek Township, Houston County, Minn., the daughter of Frank and Augusta (Harm) Yohe on Dec. 20, 1884. She attended rural schools after which she attended Caledonia High School and La Crosse Business College. She taught in the rural school for two years.

She came to New Albin in 1907. On May 1, 1918, she was married to Adolph Rudnick who, with a foster son, James Carnine, survives, as do many New Albin nieces and nephews. and a host of friends.

Mrs. Rudnick, or Gustie, as she was more familiarly called, was well liked by all who came to know her. She will be sadly missed both at home and by relatives and friends. She was a member of St. Peter's Church of New Albin, a member of St. Peter's Guild, and a longtime member of the Royal Neighbors of America.

She served for 25 years on the local school board and in this capacity as president for six years, and about 30 years on the board of education. She also served many years on the election board.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 4, at 2:00 at St. Peter's United Church of Christ. Interment was in New Albin Cemetery.

Lillian King was organist and soloists were Mrs. Elsie Weymiller and Albert Fruechte.

Pallbearers were longtime friends: Ralph Jenkins, Arnold Hexom, Emil Weymiller, Paul H. Meyer, Ray Higgins and Earl Griffin.

Mason, Sac City, Iowa; Mrs. Ronald Lucko, Sac City, Iowa; Mrs. Terry Ellingson, Early, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Al Carnine, Sioux Rapids, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Carnine, Storm Lake, Iowa; William D.
