Aldolf B. Vangen
WAUKON, Iowa -- Adolf B. Vangen, 95, of Waukon died Saturday, Oct. 10, 1987, at the Good Samaritan Center, Waukon.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Martin Funeral Home, Waukon, with burial in Pontoppidan Cemetery, rural Waukon. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Vangen was born Aug. 3, 1892, in Allamakee County. He farmed and later was a bricklayer.

Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Ella Kirkeby of Decorah.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION-

Adolph was the son of Elling and Bertha (Skaim) Vangen. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Casket bearers were Harlan Kirkeby, Wayne Kirkeby, Everett Kirkeby, Donus Duvel, Kevin McCormick and Brian Selberg.
