Andrea Jean Keenan, 33, of Rawlins, Wyo., and formerly of La Crosse, Wis., was killed on Friday, Jan. 21, 1983, in a traffic accident in Colorado.
She was born on Sept. 11, 1949, in Waukon, to Walter and Margaretta (Smerud) Keenan.
She attended St. George High School in Lansing, and Drake University in Des Moines. She was a graduate of Western Wisconsin Technical Institute in La Crosse.
She had been an operating room technician in La Crosse and Seattle, Wash., and had been working at the Colorado Oil Shale Project for the past 16 months.
Survivors are her parents of Rawlins; three brothers, John of Lansing, Kevin of Grand Junction, Colo., and Tim of Laramie, Wyo.; five sisters, Tina Flanagan of Rawlins, Mary Ellen Mohn of Lansing, Louise Schnick of La Crosse, Denise Keenan of Evergreen, Colo., and Alene Keenan of Grand Junction; and her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Oscar Smerud of New Albin.
Services and burial were on Tuesday, Jan. 25, in Rawlins.
