Waukon- Funeral services for Mrs. Gilbert Smedsrud, 91, Waukon's oldest resident, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Baake and Hanson Funeral Home and at 2 p.m. at the Old West Paint Creek Church near here. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Smedsrud died at the family home here Sunday.

She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Otto Geuder, Mrs. Alfred Anderson, and Mrs. Robert Keatley, all of Waukon, Mrs. Raymond Odegaard, and Mrs. Melvin Kolsrud, both of rural Waterville.; three sons, Alfred and Carl, both of Waukon, and Melvin, rural Waterville; and a brother, Gilman Hanson, Waukon.
