Harpers Ferry- John L. Knapp, 85, farmer and former railroad worker, died Monday at his farm residence.
Surviving are his wife, Clarice; a son, Eldean of Harpers Ferry; three daughters, Delpha McCormick and Beverly Platten, both of Harpers Ferry, and Dorrene Wall of Prairie du Chien, Wis.; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Olive Waters of Dubuque, Mrs. Art Kautman and Mrs. Amos Johnson, both of Prairie du Chien, Wis.
Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Schultz's in Monona, where friends may (call) after 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial: Council Hill, rural McGregor.
