Lansing- Funeral services were held here Tuesday afternoon at the Fitschen Funeral Home for Mrs. Jesse Strong, 74, who died Saturday following a stroke several weeks ago. The Rev. John Kile officiated and burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Casketbearers were: Harry Coyne, Melvin Hanson, Arthur Olloff, Paul Gibbs, Fred Harlow, and William Protsman.

As Ada May Swan, she was born at Waukon on June 30, 1869. Her husband preceded her in death a number of years ago.

She is survived by eight sons: Rev. Howard Strong of Winnebago, Ill., Harold in Alaska, Clyde and Bert, both of Lacrosse, George of Dubuque, Frank and Ted, both of Lansing, and Leonard of Davenport; and one daughter, Mabel, also of Davenport.
