Waukon- Services were Monday afternoon at the Old East Paint Creek Church for Elmer Kolsrud, 61, who died Friday in an ambulance en-route from his home to a hospital. The Rev. E. O. Baalson officiated and burial was in the church cemetery.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. Solve Kolsrud, he was born on a farm east of Waukon in 1888. After marrying Gunda Olson he made his home on a farm in the Elon area where he had since resided.

Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Alton, on a nearby farm, and Ernest, of Washington, D.C.; two brothers, Carl, of Waukon, and Melvin, on the homestead; four sisters, Miss Anna Kolsrud and Mrs. Rena Swenson, both of Waukon; Mrs. Ore T. Roe and Mrs. John Rema, both of near Elon; and two grandchildren.
