Waukon- Mabel R. Winke, 93, died Monday, Nov. 23, 1998, in Veterans Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Zalmona Presbyterian Church, rural Waukon, by the Rev. James Walker. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Martin Funeral Home, Waukon.

Survivors include two sons, Darwin of Elkader and Virgil of Janesville, Wis.; and a sister, Leona Duvel of Waukon.
