Waukon, Ia., Jan 3 - Funeral services were held at the East Paint Creek church by Rev. J.B. Unseth for Mrs. Ole H. Bjerke who died last Friday a her home in Minneapolis.

Mrs. Bjerke, whose maiden name was Inger Thorine Jacobson, was born in Norway, May 4, 1850, and when an infant came to Allamakee county with her parents who settled in Paint Creek township.

Her marriage to Ole Bjerke took place April 27, 1877, and they resided here up to several years ago when they moved to Minneapolis. About a year ago her husband died.

She is survived by a son, Eilert, of Waterloo; three daughters, Helen, Alma and Wilma Peterson, all of Minneapolis; three sisters, Mrs. I. Johnson, Waterville; Anetta, of near Decorah, and Mrs. Edward Erickson of West Salem, Wis., and five grandchildren.
