John Bulman Is Dead, Rites Set

CENTRAL CITY – Services for John H. Bulman, 55, of Rogers, will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. In the Murdoch chapel in Marion.
Mr. Bulman died suddenly Wednesday morning in a Cedar Rapids hospital. He and his wife owned and operated a cafe in Alburnett.
He was born March 1, 1902 in Waukon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jason C. Bulman, and was married to Evelyn Hemmersbach in Sparta, Wis. He was a resident of Marion for 11 years before moving to Rogers where they have lived since 1953.
Surviving besides his wife are four sons, M/Sgt. Lloyd C., of Austin, Texas; John H., Randy L., and Gary J., all of Rogers; a daughter, Mrs. James Anderson of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Howard, of Waterloo and Gene, of Kansas City, Kan., and three sisters, Mrs. Truman Wenig and Mrs. Edwin Wenig, both of Dorchester, and Mrs. Ridge Martin of Rockland, Wis.
Burial will be in the Blodgett cemetery north of Rogers. Friends may call at the chapel.
