Waukon - LaVerne E. Yohe, 81, died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2000, in Veterans Memorial Hospital, Waukon, following a brief illness. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, St. John's Lutheran Church, Waukon, by the Rev. Lynn G. Groe. Burial: Evergreen Cemetery, rural Waukon. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. today at Martin Funeral Home, Waukon.

Survivors include her husband, Eugene; two daughters, Marlene Schiotz of Foxhome, Minn., and Charlene Tjaden of Winona, Minn.; a son, Harlan Yohe of Waukon; and a brother, Parmer Schlake of Garnavillo.
